All participants are required to officially register.  Please read the following information before completing an online registration. All fees are in Australian Dollars and inclusive of GST (ABN 27 025 075 008)

DESCRIPTION OF REGISTRATION CATEGORIES

MEMBER FEE

To qualify for a conference member rate, you must be a member of Occupational Therapy Australia, an International Association that is a member of WFOT, or another Allied Health Association. Your membership status will be verified with the relevant association.

Those who register at the member rate as a member of Occupational Therapy Australia must have an active 2019-2020 OTA membership at the time of the conference. Your OTA membership status will be verified on 1 July 2019 in order for you to retain the conference member rate. Non-Members who registered for the conference member rate and do not purchase their 2019-2020 OTA membership by 1 July 2019 will be transferred to the non-member rate and invoiced for the difference.

For further information on joining as a member please visit the Occupational Therapy Australia website.  Membership for the 2019-2020 period opens on 1 June 2019.

NEW GRADUATE MEMBER FEE
To qualify for a New Graduate rate, you must be:

  • A graduate of an occupational therapy education program recognised by AHPRA and WFOT
  • Current and full registration as an occupational therapist with AHPRA
  • A graduate of up to 2 years.

STUDENT FEE
To qualify for a student rate, you must be:

  • Studying an undergraduate or masters entry level occupational therapy education program recognised by AHPRA and WFOT and not yet graduated or;
    A full-time postgraduate student of an occupational therapy program
  • Registered as a student with AHPRA

You will need to provide proof of student status in the form of copy of a student card or copy of current enrolment which can be uploaded during the online registration process, or emailed to conferenceadmin@otaus.com.au once your online registration has been completed.

 

DAY REGISTRATIONS
Please note there are no reduced early bird fees for day registrations.

GALA DINNER

Tickets can be purchased for the Gala Dinner in addition to your Conference registration.  Tickets are $139 per person and include a three course meal, drinks (beer, wine and soft drinks), ferry transfer, dancing and a Ferris wheel ride.

FAMILY/PARENTS ROOM

The ICC has a parents room located in the Main Foyer (Level 2) next to Door 4. The room is equipped with a microwave, changing facilities and comfortable private seating should delegates wish to continue their breastfeeding routine during the Conference.   Changing facilities are also available in the Level 4 and 6 accessible toilets within the venue.

 

 

ACCOMMODATION

Special discounted rate have been negotiated for Conference delegates at a variety of Sydney hotels and apartments in conjunction with our accommodation partner, ConferenceNational.

Accommodation is booked on a separately to your Conference registration.

PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS

PAYMENT METHODS

Full payment of fees is required before registrations can be processed and confirmed.  Payment can be made in the following manner:

1. CREDIT CARD PAYMENT
Visa, MasterCard and AMEX are accepted.

 

2. CHEQUE PAYMENT
Please make cheque/bank draft in Australian Dollars payable to Occupational Therapy Australia and mail with the tax invoice to Occupational Therapy Australia, 6/340 Gore Street, Fitzroy VIC 3065 Australia.
International Delegates please note:  Cheque payment must be received by way of an international bank draft in Australian Dollars which states an Australian drawee bank.  We cannot accept personal or company cheques.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

REGISTRATION FEES
Registration cancellations received in writing to Occupational Therapy Australia 30 days prior to the 28th National Conference and Exhibition (Monday 10 June 2019) will receive a refund less a handling fee of $110 including GST. No refund will be given after this date; however, an alternative delegate name may be submitted. All cancellations and substitutions must be made by email to conference2019@otaus.com.au.

ACCOMMODATION
For accommodation cancellation policies please refer to the individual hotel.  Any amendments to original hotel bookings must be forwarded in writing to ConferenceNational via registrations@conferencenational.com.au.

 

INSURANCE
Delegates are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance.  Delegates registration fees do not provide any such insurance coverage.  The Conference Management Committee and Occupational Therapy Australia accept no responsibility for any loss in this regard.
