The careers forum is designed for students, new graduates, or those returning to practice who are interested in gaining more information on employment to support them in their first year/s of job seeking.  As you focus on commencing or re-establishing your career as an occupational therapist, the careers forum will provide you with important insights and tips, including:


  • Expectations of new graduates/returners to practice
  • What managers look for in applications and interviews
  • The current job market for occupational therapists
  • Some strategies to support your entry into the market
  • Opportunity to hear about the job and what a day looks like in a range of work settings
  • Hear about the supports available to you to successfully transition into the workforce
